Lucía Echavarría

Lucía Echavarría is a Colombian designer living in Mexico City. With her project and her brand, Magnetic Midnight Maison, Lucia has built a practice which moves between design, decorative arts and cultural research, focusing on the exploration, preservation and appreciation of traditional crafts. In a constant desire to learn how things are made and maintain their essence, and with the close relationship she has built with artisans over the last decade, she reinvents uses for materials and carves new paths to express and celebrate the material and symbolic wealth of craft.
